Edwards Moving & Rigging is excited to announce the creation of their new apprenticeship program in partnership with the Kentucky Labor Cabinet. This new apprentice program is a great opportunity to begin a career in a specialized industry by learning all the needed skills while earning a paycheck.
Edwards’ new three-year apprenticeship in specialized transportation and rigging, will provide each participant with both the experience and training from equipment manufacturers and operators to become an accomplished rigger. The curriculum consists of 2,000 on-the-job training hours and 144 classroom hours per year. Participants will receive field experience and classroom instruction covering a wide array of subject matter including, transporter configuration, hydraulics, rigging equipment and terminology, gantry systems, and signalman training just to name a few. No prior experience is required to join the apprenticeship.

Starting rate of pay for our apprenticeship is $20.00 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, 401K (with match), per diem, bonus, etc.
