The Edwards:

Discover the Difference.

Meet and Greet

Trade shows. A whirlwind of handshakes, brochures, and fleeting conversations. In this bustling environment, it can be easy for companies to blend into the background. But at Edwards Moving & Rigging, we believe in making connections that go beyond the booth. We see trade shows not just as an opportunity to showcase our services, but as a chance to engage with our clients, partners, and the wider industry on a deeper level.

So, why should you make it a point to connect with Edwards at the next trade show?

Because We Value Face-to-Face Interaction

In today’s digital world, genuine human connection can be a rare commodity. We believe in the power of face-to-face conversations. Trade shows provide the perfect setting to discuss your specific challenges, understand your unique needs, and explore how Edwards can provide tailored solutions. We’re not just selling a service; we’re building relationships.

Because We're More Than Just Equipment

Yes, we have a vast fleet of state-of-the-art equipment. But what truly sets Edwards apart is our people. At trade shows, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the experts – the engineers, project managers, and safety professionals – who are the driving force behind our success. These are the individuals who will be working on your projects, and meeting them in person allows you to build trust and confidence in their abilities.

Because We're Passionate About Problem-Solving

We thrive on tackling complex challenges. Trade shows offer a platform for you to bring your toughest transportation and rigging problems to the table. Our team is eager to listen, analyze, and collaborate with you to develop innovative solutions that move your business forward. We see every challenge as an opportunity to demonstrate our expertise and commitment to excellence.

Because We're Invested in the Industry

We’re not just participants in the industry; we’re active contributors. Trade shows allow us to stay at the forefront of industry trends, learn about emerging technologies, and share our own insights and best practices. By engaging in these conversations, we can collectively push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of moving and rigging.

Because We're Committed to Your Success

Ultimately, our goal is to help you succeed. When you connect with Edwards at a trade show, you’re not just meeting a vendor; you’re meeting a potential partner. We’re invested in your long-term growth and are committed to providing the support and expertise you need to achieve your goals.

Project Cargo Breakbulk Coference & Exhibition

We’ve all witnessed the extraordinary — and unpredictable — series of shocks and challenges that have been shaping the breakbulk market since COVID first hit five years ago. Even logisticians who had never paid attention to geopolitics now parse the headlines for signs of the next blunt-force impact to global supply chains.

Project forwarders and cargo shippers use words such as "stressful" and "crazy" when they tell us about the market. There is little stability in bookings or rates. Although project cargo demand is strong and getting stronger, uncertainty surrounding project commitments and schedules continues to make shippers reluctant to contract forward. This reluctance, in turn, adds to carriers' reluctance to order new vessels beyond capacity replacement.

Whatever else is happening, we know that, come next April, we’ll bring together breakbulk and project cargo shippers, ocean and land-based specialized carriers, project forwarders, ports and terminals, and other breakbulk supply chain service providers in New Orleans. There, we will sort our way through myriad industry and logistics opportunities and challenges that show no sign of calming.
