Goldhofer Hydraulic Platform Trailers - PST/PSTe
Our self-propelled heavy-duty PST modules were specifically designed for the transportation of heavy loads. These trailers perform different steering functions including: 90-degree transverse steering, diagonal steering and carousel steering. The Goldhofer PSTe modules are equipped with computerized electronic steering where each axle can steer +/- 135 degrees. Our self-propelled configurations are perfectly suited for onsite application as well as short distance over the road hauls.

Goldhofer Hydraulic Platform Trailers - THP
With the addition of a drawbar and a prime mover, our Goldhofer THP trailers can also access public roads and highways with complete leveling capacity and up to 55 degree steering. These modular heavy-duty vehicles can be combined into an extremely diverse set of vehicle combinations. They are combinable in both the longitudinal and lateral directions and can be individually supplemented by various spacers, drop decks, and bolsters to offer a large variety of options for solving complicated transport tasks.

Faktor 5 High Girder Bridge
The Edwards Faktor 5 High Girder Bridge is the sixth to be built by Goldhofer since the product was launched in 2012. The Faktor 5’s modular design and containerized load-out capability provides rapid and easy mobilization to and from job sites. With its adjustable loading lengths and widths, the Faktor 5 offers the flexibility to solve tough specialized transport challenges.
Dead weight of the Faktor 5 is 110 tons giving it a payload capacity of 551 tons. When supported on two sets of 20-axle hydraulic platform trailer lines, it has a span of 157 feet and a total length of 282 feet.
This technologically advanced piece of equipment is ideally suited for generators and transformers in the power generation market. As demand pushes these major power components to be more powerful, their size and weight also increase. A Faktor 5 High Girder Bridge configuration allows these types of components to be transported in one piece to job sites instead of in several part loads.

A250 – A500 Dual Lane Transporter
Edwards took delivery of the A250 – A500 Dual Lane Transporter in 2016, traveling to its first transport straight from the trailer manufacturer!
The perimeter frame allows the transport of tall components, such as transformers, while the steerable dollies can negotiate the tightest turns with ease. This trailer is very “bridge friendly” due to the ability of the dolly axles to spread and expand from widths of 14’6″ to a maximum of 20’2″ while moving.
Removal of the hat boxes and frame allows the movement of long components such as bridge girders, tanks and I-Beams on the individual dollies if required.
This technologically advanced equipment has been a great addition to our specialized transportation fleet.

Goldhofer ADDrive Modules
Edwards acquired four 6-line Goldhofer ADDrive Modules in 2017 – the first 6-line modules purchased and operating in the world! These multi-flexible use modules are a tremendous addition to our hydraulic platform trailer fleet.
The Goldhofer ADDrive module advantages are:
- Versatile Self-Propelled and Free Wheeling modes for towing up to 80 km/h.
- Automatic uncoupling of axles prevents overheating of drive components.
- Self-Propelled drive mode reduces weight for crossing bridges without tractor unit.
- World’s first Heavy Duty Module with Quick-Acting Electronic Braking System (EBS).
- Extreme bending moment for concentrated cargoes.
- Can be synchronized with other Goldhofer self-propelled units.

Goldhofer Hydraulic THP / DC Expandable Trailer
Edwards’ Goldhofer THP/DC Expandable Axle trailer adds another dimension to our expanding hydraulic fleet. This technologically advanced trailer was developed by Goldhofer to eliminate the need to change hauling configurations while traveling through multiple states in the US. The required trailer configuration can move continuously from state to state, on long hauls, with the ability to expand axles from 14′, 16′, 18′, and up to 20′ while moving and under load. The main functions of the trailer, such as steering, lifting/lowering and widening, are operated by a wireless remote control. Our 13-lines of THP/DC can be combined with a gooseneck attachment to assist with turn radii and reduce gross weight.
GOLDHOFER DUAL-LANE TRAILERS
Our bridge friendly Goldhofer Dual-Lane trailer is a perfect configuration for permitting over-the-road routes with bridges that require greater dispersion of heavy loads as well as long over-the-road transports throughout North America. Its three-point hydraulic loading system is designed to ensure fragile cargo will not encounter unnecessary stress due to the length of the load. This trailer can also elevate over inclines along any route, and then lower for passing under overpasses.

Conventional Multi-Axle Trailers
Edwards has an assortment of Conventional Multi-Axle Trailers that can handle your heavy haul loads. When combined with our different beam and bolster options, we can offer transport solutions for a wide variety of over-the-road solutions for both over dimensional and overweight loads.

Self-Propelled Hydraulic Dollies
Our inventory includes Self-Propelled Hydraulic Dollies as well as conventional dollies allowing us to provide outside the box solutions where other options may not work. Our long history of providing logistics solutions for moving unique structures and machinery have also allowed us to develop hybrid transport solutions by combining our hydraulic platform trailer with conventional dollies when needed.

Transport Suspension Beams
Combined with our Goldhofer Dual Lane or Hydraulic Platform Trailer configurations, our Transport Suspension Beams work well for concentrated loads such as generators and turbines as well as tall loads that need to travel under overpasses and other overhead obstacles. Our suspension beam trailer configuration has been used successfully throughout the country and provides another unique transport solution for difficult and complex heavy hauls.

Prime Movers
Our full fleet of Prime Movers is designed to be used in multiple configurations over both smooth and rough terrain onsite and on short hauls or for over-the-road long distance moves. Our prime movers are meticulously maintained and offer a range of capabilities for heavy hauling over a million pounds when used in combination.
