At Edwards Moving & Rigging, our projects involve massive equipment, complex logistics, specialized crews, demanding schedules, and challenges that rarely come with a simple solution. Bringing all those pieces together takes more than someone who can manage a project plan. It takes someone who can see the entire job, anticipate what comes next, and keep customers, crews, equipment, agencies, and resources moving in the same direction.
We are looking for a Project Manager who wants that responsibility.
In this role, you will take projects from planning through execution, helping determine how the work will be performed, what resources will be required, and how the team will deliver safely, efficiently, and profitably.
What You Will Own
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute plans for multiple heavy haul and specialized rigging projects.
- Build detailed project scopes that account for route surveys, permits, equipment, support services, site requirements, crews, and other resources.
- Coordinate project schedules, mobilization, equipment, and field execution.
- Serve as a key point of communication between customers, field leadership, management, contractors, utilities, and governmental or permitting agencies.
- Work closely with Foremen to make sure the right equipment and resources are available when the job needs them.
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure execution remains aligned with the project scope.
- Maintain accurate, current project documentation and clearly communicate changing requirements and responsibilities.
- Anticipate problems before they become project delays.
- Provide the oversight and controls necessary to help ensure projects meet customer expectations and achieve profitability.

- The confidence to work directly with customers, field leaders, agencies, contractors, and company leadership.
- A willingness to travel and be where the project requires you to be.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to work across different customer technology platforms.
- Project management experience, preferably within rigging, construction, heavy trucking, or a related industry.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is a plus.
