Project Superintendent/Foreman
Key Responsibilities
The Project Superintendent/Foreman provides hands-on leadership and supervision of heavy rigging and specialized transport projects. This role is responsible for safely coordinating crews, equipment, and daily jobsite activities while ensuring work is completed according to engineered plans, project requirements, and Edwards Moving & Rigging safety standards
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Leadmen, Riggers, Apprentices, Operators, and other assigned crew members.
- Direct heavy rigging operations including jack-and-slide systems, hydraulic gantries, load placement, loading/offloading, and specialized equipment moves.
- Review engineered plans, lift/move plans, JHAs, and project requirements prior to execution.
- Verify proper equipment setup, rigging configurations, load placement, and safe execution of work.
- Coordinate daily activities, manpower, equipment, mobilization, and demobilization.
- Communicate project progress, needs, and concerns with Project Managers and company leadership.
- Complete required daily reports and project documentation.
- Maintain jobsite safety, conduct toolbox talks, identify hazards, enforce PPE requirements, and exercise stop-work authority when necessary.
- Mentor and develop Leadmen, Riggers, and other crew members.
